Westfield State University’s online master’s degree program in social work provides students with a generalist and an advanced clinical social work curriculum. While there is no accelerated track, some students may be eligible for the advanced standing track if they already hold a bachelor’s degree in social work. A total of 66 credits and at least 900 hours of fieldwork is required to complete the traditional track, while 37 credit hours and 500 hours of fieldwork constitute the requirements for the advanced standing program. For the 2023-2024 academic year, advanced full-time and full-time traditional programs of study internships are to be completed in Massachusetts. The final deadline for admission is Feb. 1.
