Students enrolled in the University of Kentucky’s online master’s degree program in social work can choose from specializations in areas of clinical social work, child welfare, military behavioral health, school social work, substance use disorder, or choose an individualized plan. Students must complete 900 field hours to graduate, while advanced standing students are required to complete 600 field hours to graduate. Degree completion generally takes two years for students attending full-time, or one year for full-time advanced standing students. A GRE score is not required for application consideration. The fall priority deadline is June 1, with a final deadline on July 15. The spring priority deadline is November 1, with a final deadline on December 1. The summer deadline is April 1.
