Students enrolled in Salisbury University’s online master’s degree program in social work will benefit from an advanced direct practice specialization. While there is no accelerated track offered, students may be eligible for the advanced standing track if they already hold a bachelor’s degree in social work, reducing the required 62 credit hours to 32 hours. A total of 1,112 hours of fieldwork practicum is required to complete the traditional track and 672 hours are needed for the advanced standing offering. Applicants who are currently full-time residents of Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., New Jersey, and New York are eligible to apply. The final application deadline for all programs is March 15.
