Students enrolled in Nazareth College’s online master’s degree program in social work will study an advanced practitioner course of study with specializations in play therapy, trauma-informed care, evidence-based practice in mental health, school of social work, autism early intervention or gerontology. While there is no accelerated track offered, students may be eligible for the advanced standing track if they already hold a bachelor’s degree in social work, lessening the required 60 credit hours to 36 hours. A total of 900 hours of fieldwork practicum is required to complete the traditional track, and 500 hours are needed to complete the advanced standing track. The deadline for the part-time advanced standing, part-time traditional, and full-time traditional program for August admission is June 30.
