Students enrolled in Indiana University’s online master’s degree program in social work can choose from six focus areas: health; mental health and addictions; school social work; children, youth, and families; special practice areas in social work; or community and organizational leadership. Students must complete 960 field hours to graduate, or 640 field hours for students with a bachelor’s degree in social work who enter the program in advanced standing. The fall application deadline is in May, with a summer application deadline in late January. No GRE score is required for application consideration.
