Applicants to Howard University’s online master’s degree program in social work can choose to focus in a direct practice concentration, or a community, administration, and policy (CAP) practice concentration. Students must complete 1,000 field hours to graduate, or 777 field hours if they hold a bachelor’s degree in social work and enter the program in advanced standing. Application final deadlines are in April for a May start, with early and priority dates offered in February and March. The program offers three start dates in January, May, and September. No GRE score is required for application consideration.
