To apply for UMass–Lowell’s online MBA, no standardized testing is required except for international students, who must prove English proficiency via TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo, or TOEIC. Two letters of recommendation are also needed. The program has a rolling application process.

Currently, the University of Massachusetts, Lowell’s online MBA program is waiving its GMAT or GRE score requirement for applicants, but three letters of recommendation are required. Students are required to complete 30 credits to graduate and applicants had an average undergraduate GPA of 3.43. Last year, the acceptance rate into the online program was 88%.
