Code Fellows launched in 2013 and while the program does not require beginner students to take an admission test, those looking to test-in to skip the entry-level courses and take a higher level classes are tested for sufficient understanding of the prior course material and expected outcomes. Instructors for this cybersecurity bootcamp are full-time faculty who are required to have at least four years of industry experience. The student to instructional staff ratio is 6:1. Students who successfully complete these classes receive state-recognized vocational certifications for each course offered in addition preparing them for industry-recognized Comp-tia A+, Network+, and Security+, and beyond.
